Fun in the 7th Wonder of the World

The Victoria Falls is the 7th Wonder of Wonder. The spectacular waterfall is the best in the world with over 500 000 cubic litres of water falling over its 110m vertical cliff every minute.

When the water from the Victoria Falls hits the gorges below, it produces a misty cloud and spray. This is why the native Tonga people in the area called it "Mosi-oa-Tunya" (The smoke that thunders).


Victoria Falls is a prime destination that offers undiluted magic to its guests. However, the area has a lot of undiscovered gems that make the trip to the town an unforgettable experience.


So what are some of the fun activities that tourists can engage in?


Helicopter rides


















There is no better way to view the Victoria Falls than from a helicopter or a hot air balloon. The bird's eye view is incredible. 


Game drives and safaris





















Game drives are conducted in the spralling 57 000 ha Zambezi National Park either in the early morning or mid-afternoon. Guests are driven around in open all terrain vehicles and they can have sights African game like:

Cruise Dinners













This is a truly amazing experience. Guests are taken on a slow and leisurely down the mighty Zambezi river. The route takes them downstream the Zambezi river towards Palm Island. They are then taken back upstream and they will get the chance to sight:

  •  birdlife.
Guests are offered beverages and snacks during the cruise. ummmmm! They will then enjoy dinner on the jetty whilst enjoying the pure atmosphere of an African sunset in the bush.

Horse-riding safaris











The most adventurous way to experience Victoria Falls is by horse rides. Horse riding safaris are available for both novices and expert riders. Riders can explore the scenery and view wildlife from the horseback. This is a truly liberating experience.

Bungi Jumping

















Want to feel your adrenalin rush as you plunge down the Victoria Falls bring and just hang a few metres above the water? Then this is an adventure for you. The drop takes about 4 seconds but it will remain etched into the memory for years to come.

Elephant Rides

















Explore the wilderness of the Zambezi gorges on the back of the real King of the Jungle, the elephant. The amazing elephant rides provides twin thrills.
